Take PicturesIt can be prudent to have proof of your car's condition before disaster strikes, for personal and possible insurance purposes. So, you may want to consider taking pictures of your car's interior and exterior as you make hurricane preparations well before a hurricane hits.
It is very important that NO tree trimming or removal occurs once a Hurricane is expected to hit our area. By performing this additional cutting it weighs down the collection system that is attempting to collect the normal vegetation per schedule. It is also very important that you do NOT toss out bulk items, or create extensive trash for collection. It is our service provider's job to ensure it provides as much pre-storm collection as possible, but creating additional waste you are preventing a normal collection.

In Florida, mobile device use is not allowed in designated school crossings, school zones, or active work zones unless used in a hands-free manner. This includes cellphones, tablets, laptops, and other wireless devices.

Beware of password scammers on social media! Do not answer innocent looking questions such as the ones below. This is a great way for scammers to get information about you to harm you. Passwords are usually associated with things you love and/or do because it is easier to remember your passwords. This is why many companies require capital letters, special characters, and symbols. If you are doing work to your home, remember that with VERY few exceptions, the work requires you to obtain a permit from the Town.
Working without a permit could not only be dangerous, but also expensive. Penalties are many times the cost of a permit. Meanwhile, insurance companies that discover unpermitted work will often not issue a policy. If you have a policy, and the insurance company discovers you have unpermitted work, they may not pay out on your claim.

The Lake Clarke Shores Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) plays a crucial role in breathing new life into the town’s economic core.
The CRA is a special designated area, or district. It includes the Forest Hill Boulevard commercial corridor, extending several blocks back from the properties bordering the roadway.
One of the greatest attributes of the Lake Clarke Shores CRA is that it is essentially self-funded. Because the CRA is a separate government entity from the town itself, it is not funded by the town's general fund. Instead, its funding is generated as a result of its own success, and the value of the properties within the district.
