What is CodeRED and why is it important to me?

CodeRED is an emergency notification service that allows Town officials to notify residents and businesses via telephone, cell phone, text message, email, and social media regarding time-sensitive general and emergency notifications.  Residents also have the option to receive CodeRED weather warning alerts within seconds after being issued by the National Weather Service.
